BIO:
Dr. Andreas Hebbel-Seeger is Professor for Media Management and Head of Media School at Macromedia University on Campus Hamburg.
He studied education, sports and German language at the University of Hamburg. After examination and promotion he completed his internship in the teaching profession at public schools. Then he went back to the University of Hamburg and worked as a scientific employee at the faculty for educational science, psychology and movement science. In this time he was in charge for different eLearning projects with a specific focus on didactical aspects in higher education.
In 2008 he moved to South of Germany and represents the professorship „digital media“ at the institute of media and educational technology at the University of Augsburg. Since 2009 he is working at Macromedia University specialised on sport and event management. His focus in research and teaching is on the use of digital media to teaching, learning and marketing purposes. Currently he’s involved in an EU-founded project witch is investigating on the use of digital games for learning purposes.
